Come out to our Community League AGM TONIGHT! find out how you can help make our neighbourhood a great place to live!

Community leagues are an important part of our city: working to advocate for our neighbourhood, to provide affordable programming, to host special events, to foster connections, and improve quality of life in our neighbourhood! We would love to offer more programs and events in the coming year, but we can't do it without community involvement and volunteers.

If you are looking to make connections and help make our community better, we welcome you to come out to the AGM and see what it's all about!

The League needs your help ahead of our AGM on THURSDAY!

We need someone unconnected with the league to help conduct an annual audit of our books. If you have a little bit of time to give this week please reach out to [email protected].

*Both the Societies Act and each Community League’s bylaws require an annual audit and presentation of that audit to the membership at the League’s Annual General Meeting. The obligation in the Societies Act to conduct annual "audits" does not necessarily mean a full accounting audit. The word is used more generally by Corporate Registries to mean a review of the financial statements by an independent party.
