Ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our team took time to learn and reflect.

On Friday, Chance Bellegarde of Redman Customs led a beading workshop at our Calgary location, in the Work Nicer building. Together, we beaded orange shirt pins and learned about the meaning behind the orange shirt, honouring the children who never came home, and the survivors, families, and communities who carry this history.

Reconciliation begins with listening. Thank you, Chance, for sharing this teaching with us.

Do you sometimes worry about what happens to your teen after high school? Whether the supports will still be there, or what adulthood holds for your kiddo living with a disability?

There's no single right path. Every young person moves toward adulthood at their own pace.

Our Transition Planning to Adulthood series helps you build a plan around your teen, their strengths, their interests, and the support they'll actually need, without the pressure to hit anyone else's milestones.

Three sessions, alongside other parents who get it. Starts Sept 29. Start your plan here- https://bit.ly/4hfyg95

The day I got diagnosed with ADHD, I felt like I was finally free in my mind. I spent so many days feeling dumb and stupid for not learning the same as most of my classmates or coworkers. The comfort of my doctor saying, “You have ADHD.” My whole life, I've been told that it's just my personality or that I just need to work harder.
