What a way to wrap up an unforgettable week in Scotland. ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Our final performance with the Sons of Scotland took us to beautiful Blair Atholl. The day brought plenty of Scottish weather (yes… we got a little damp 😂) and a few traffic jams on those wee Highland roads, but spotting some Highland cows along the way definitely made the journey a little more fun.

What an incredible experience this has been. From performances at castles and the World Pipe Band Championships to new friendships, laughter, music, and memories that will last a lifetime, our hearts are full.

Some of us are heading home today, while others will be making the journey tomorrow, but one thing is certain… we’ll be talking about this trip for a very long time.

Thank you to the Sons of Scotland for welcoming us so warmly and for sharing this amazing adventure with us.

Until next time, Scotland. We’ll see you all again soon. ❤️

Today was one of those days we’ll be talking about for a long time.

What an incredible experience performing at Balmoral alongside the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band and the amazingly talented Tyler Fry. Playing in such an iconic setting, surrounded by great musicians and even better company, is something we’ll never forget.

But as every piper and drummer knows, sometimes the best memories happen after the official performance is over.

The day wrapped up with a wonderful afternoon and an impromptu Highland party at the Royal British Legion Scotland – Banchory & District Branch (Ravenswood Club), where the music, laughter, and friendships continued well into the evening.

Scotland, you’ve been absolutely incredible.

Finals (round 2) I swear better than this morning but I could be biased 😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎼🥁

Guess who’s moving on to the second round??

We came. We played. We conquered the Worlds. 🥁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Today, we stepped onto the field at the World Pipe Band Championships as part of an incredible international band hosted by the Sons of Scotland from Ottawa, bringing together musicians from seven different countries.

What an experience.

There’s something pretty amazing about watching musicians who started as strangers come together through a shared love of pipe band music.

The Worlds may be behind us, but our Scottish adventure isn’t over yet. We still have more performances, more music, and more memories waiting for us at Balmoral and Blair Atholl.

For now, though, I’m taking a moment to soak this one in.

We came.
We played.
And we stood on the world’s biggest pipe band stage together.

Onward to the next adventure. ❤️
