Celebrating 20 Years of Volunteer Service.

Hospice Georgian Triangle Wish & Volunteer Coordinator April Lawson recently had the pleasure of recognizing Martha Lawrence for an incredible milestone, 20 years of volunteer service.

Over the past two decades, Martha has shared her time and talents in many ways, from helping in the kitchen and welcoming visitors at the front desk to supporting fundraising events and serving on advisory committees.

Reflecting on her volunteer journey, Martha shared:

"You always get back more than you give. I have met incredible people and shared countless moments of fun and laughter. It has been a rewarding and meaningful journey."

Thank you, Martha, for 20 years of compassion, dedication, and service. Your kindness has made a lasting impact on our organization and the many individuals and families we serve.

Volunteers truly are at the heart of Hospice Georgian Triangle.

A meaningful day of community, connection, and remembrance.

Hospice Georgian Triangle and Clearview Township officially unveiled the Wind Phone at Clearview EcoPark, a peaceful space created for reflection, healing, and remembering loved ones.

This special project was made possible through community collaboration, including the craftsmanship of George Christie, who generously created the beautiful wooden enclosure that houses the Wind Phone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the unveiling and to all those who helped bring this compassionate community partnership to life.

The Wind Phone is now open to the community at Clearview EcoPark.

More than 325 participants came together for an incredible weekend of hockey, community and giving back, at the Black & McDonald’s Annual National Hockey Tournament, all in support of compassionate care in our region.

Thanks to the generosity of Black & McDonald, proceeds from the tournament raised an incredible $30,160 to be shared between Hospice Georgian Triangle and Chapman House Hospice.

The tournament wrapped up with a banquet at Blue Mountain, where Black & McDonald Co-CEO Ian McDonald matched the silent auction proceeds, doubling the impact for local hospice care.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, donated, sponsored and supported this meaningful event. Your generosity helps ensure compassionate hospice palliative care and support remains available for families when they need it most.
