One Life One Chance Ministries www.onelifeonechance.ca One Life One Chance Ministries is a Canadian charity founded in 2007, based in Chilliwack, BC.

One Life serves in the San Quintin Valley, Baja, Mexico supporting local indigenous ministries, encouraging the Church, and bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to people and communities. We use Los Olivos, a local recreation park, as our operations centre to connect with indigenous ministries by being a neutral ministry site and using the property as a basecamp for serving teams. Providing shelter and basic needs, support in communities can be as significant as a new, secure home or a nourishing meal. All of this is done through the local church. With multi-year plans to develop everything from a children’s shelter and educational facility, to basic medical and social services at Los Olivos, One Life is in for the long-term. In all these things, the goal is leading people to Jesus Christ. If our aid gives indigenous ministries a hand-up and the Base provides infrastructure, basic needs will be met, and the local church empowered to fulfill their calling to make Jesus Christ known in their communities. God has called One Life to the San Quintin Valley for this time to support and to help equip His Church and to see lives transformed for His glory. The vision for One Lfe was borne out of more than 20 years of cross-cultural ministry in Mexico, Uganda, Haiti and Thailand begun by its sister organization, Stoney Creek Expeditions.

❤️ A Safe Place to Sleep. A Family in Need of Hope.

For Marcela and her three children, recent strong winds have damaged their small home, leaving their mattresses soaked and their nights cold.

After visiting the family and seeing their living conditions, our One Life team is preparing to help build a small, safer room where they can sleep with warmth and security.

❤️ Every family deserves a safe place to call home. Together, we can help make that possible.

This week, our One Life team came together to support Pastor Juan with a special project at his new church, helping pour the concrete floor for the pulpit area.

With the helping hands of Manuel, Allan, Poly, fellow pastors, and volunteers, another meaningful step toward completing this place of worship was made possible.

🙏 When we come together in faith and service, we can accomplish so much more.

May God continue to bless this church and everyone who helped bring this project one step closer to completion.

❤️ A Helping Hand. A Reminder of God's Love.

When Antonio came to Los Olivos looking for work, he was hoping to support his two daughters while his wife, Gudelia, was in the hospital.

After learning about his family's situation, our ministry team was grateful to provide a box of essential groceries to help during this difficult time.

We're thankful to hear that Gudelia is now home recovering! ❤️

Last week, our ministry team visited Nayeli, bringing essential supplies, encouragement, and prayer during a challenging season for her family.
