One Life serves in the San Quintin Valley, Baja, Mexico supporting local indigenous ministries, encouraging the Church, and bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to people and communities. We use Los Olivos, a local recreation park, as our operations centre to connect with indigenous ministries by being a neutral ministry site and using the property as a basecamp for serving teams. Providing

shelter and basic needs, support in communities can be as significant as a new, secure home or a nourishing meal. All of this is done through the local church. With multi-year plans to develop everything from a children’s shelter and educational facility, to basic medical and social services at Los Olivos, One Life is in for the long-term. In all these things, the goal is leading people to Jesus Christ. If our aid gives indigenous ministries a hand-up and the Base provides infrastructure, basic needs will be met, and the local church empowered to fulfill their calling to make Jesus Christ known in their communities. God has called One Life to the San Quintin Valley for this time to support and to help equip His Church and to see lives transformed for His glory. The vision for One Lfe was borne out of more than 20 years of cross-cultural ministry in Mexico, Uganda, Haiti and Thailand begun by its sister organization, Stoney Creek Expeditions.

A group of volunteers. One mission. One family impacted.

Hands came together to pour more than a concrete floor—they helped build hope, dignity, and a stronger future for a family in need.

Today, Manuel and our team finished repainting one of our concrete mixers. These machines play an important role in helping us build floors for families, which is why regular maintenance is so important.

We are grateful for everyone who serves behind the scenes to keep our projects moving forward. A special thank you to Manuel for his hard work and support. Every contribution helps us continue making a difference in the lives of families we serve.

During our recent visit with Josefina, she shared how grateful she is for the home that was built for her family. She told us it has been a tremendous blessing and has brought hope and stability to their lives.

Josefina and her family send their greetings and thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.

Yes, there is hard work. There are homes to build, communities to serve, and needs to meet. But some of the most meaningful moments happen in between the work.

They happen while sitting with children, making crafts, sharing laughs, listening to stories, and building friendships. They happen when barriers come down and genuine connections are formed.

Today we received a call from Pastor Juan requesting support with pouring concrete columns for his church, which is currently under construction.

We are grateful for every opportunity to come alongside local churches and serve where there is a need. Building a church is about more than construction. It is about creating a place where lives can be transformed and communities can grow in faith.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support and make this work possible.

Good morning, One Life family!

On Monday, we held our sixth pastoral gathering, and we were blessed to hear a message from Pastor Rolando. He shared about the importance of preparing our hearts for the Lord Jesus Christ and being ready to fulfill the purpose God has for our lives.

Pastor Rolando also reminded us of the importance of trusting God throughout every season and process, knowing that He is faithful and that there is a reward in remaining steadfast. We were encouraged to bless and support one another as we walk together in faith.

God’s Word was a tremendous blessing to everyone who attended. We were grateful to welcome 30 people to this gathering.

Thank you to everyone whose love, service, and support make these meetings possible. May God richly bless you all!

We are so thankful for the generous donation from Fraser Valley Gleaners ! Today we were able to add dehydrated apple portions and dehydrated vegetable mix to our food hampers, helping us provide even more support to families in need. Thank you, Lord, for Your provision and for those who give so generously.
