New U.S. tariffs are now in effect on selected Canadian goods. Even if your business is not directly exporting a covered product, you may still feel the impact through supplier prices, shipping, input costs, or customer demand.

The Chilliwack Chamber has prepared a local update, informed by the BC Chamber of Commerce network, explaining what changed and what businesses can do now:

- Confirm your tariff exposure
- Review your supply chain

Community impact is what Battle of the Businesses is all about.

Congratulations to our 2026 champions, Canex and Century 21 Creekside Realty, and thank you to every team that stepped onto the field in support of local causes.

This year, participants helped direct $7,500 back into the community:

• Canex donated $4,000 to Salvation Army Chilliwack Emergency Disaster Services

• Century 21 Creekside Realty donated $1,500 to Ruth & Naomi's Chilliwack

• Salvation Army Chilliwack received $2,000 as A Division Runner-Up

Through friendly competition, local businesses continue to strengthen and support the organizations that make Chilliwack such a vibrant and caring community.
