A warm welcome to Dr. Alexandra Ferrara as she joins the Emergency Department team at CKHA and the Thamesview Family Health Team. Dr. Ferrara grew up right here in Chatham-Kent and is now returning to serve her home community.

It’s always exciting to see local students getting an early look at the many career opportunities available in healthcare right here in Chatham-Kent. 💙

CKHA’s High School Co-op Program gives students a chance to learn alongside healthcare professionals, explore different areas of the hospital, and start imagining where their future could take them.

Such a great opportunity for the next generation!

What started as Monica Couto’s way of honouring her mom, Maria, has grown into a wonderful tradition that continues to make a real difference for local cancer care. 💗

Year after year, Monica pours so much heart, hard work and dedication into the Mamma Maria’s Drive Out Breast Cancer Golf Tournament. Since 2022, the event has raised approximately $25,000 for local cancer care at CKHA, and this year’s proceeds will support our Mammography Campaign.

There’s still time to be part of this year’s tournament on Saturday, September 26 at Talbot Trail Golf Course. ⛳
