Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation Connecting the communities of CK in support of high quality healthcare in our local hospital sites. Donate today at www.foundationckha.com!

Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation of CKHA has led activities formerly carried out by the Public General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Sydenham District Hospital Foundations and has raised over $38 million to date through annual campaigns, capital and endowment campaigns, memorial and planned giving programs and special events. Generous contributions to the Foundation of CKHA allow

CKHA to provide patients, and their loved ones, with quality healthcare at both the Chatham and Sydenham Campuses. Over the years, contributions have helped to maintain and improve hospital equipment and facilities, support specific projects, programs and services and meet CKHA’s most urgent capital equipment needs.

Just a few more smiles from an incredible morning on May 31st. 👣

Strong Starts for Tiny Hearts brought together families, friends, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters from across our community for a truly special day in support of local women’s and children’s care.

Thank you again to everyone who walked, ran, strolled, volunteered, donated, sponsored, and helped make this inaugural event such a success. The community spirit on display was something special.

A special thank you as well to the incredible folks at Mojo Drywall Inc. for helping ensure leftover food, beverages, and supplies from the event found their way to other worthy causes throughout our community. It's a wonderful example of neighbours helping neighbours.

👀 Stay tuned ... we're looking forward to sharing the event's official fundraising total soon!

As we recognize Stroke Month in June, today we are proud to celebrate Julia Chase, Registered Nurse and recipient of this year’s Stroke Care Award at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. 🏆

Made possible through the generosity of Drs. Prema Samy and Siva Murugappan, this award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in supporting stroke patients and their families. Julia's compassion, dedication, and advocacy help ensure patients and families feel supported during some of life's most challenging moments, while her leadership continues to strengthen stroke care at our hospital.

Please join us in congratulating Julia on this incredibly well-deserved honour. 👏

👶 A record 931 babies were born at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance this past year, and community support is helping ensure local families have access to exceptional newborn care when they need it most.

Last year, the Sandra Schmirler Foundation provided a remarkable $62,168 gift to fund a Panda iRes Bedded Warmer for CKHA's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Today, that investment is already helping support some of our community's tiniest patients and their families during life's earliest and most important moments.

We're proud to share this special impact story and celebrate a partnership that is making a real difference right here in Chatham-Kent.
