Join us This Wednesday Nov. 4th, at Wellwise on the corner of St. Clair and McNaughton Ave, starting at 7pm as we welcome fellow member Ian Findlater as he shares his firsthand experience as a spouse and caregiver. Often we are so focused on the person receiving the ostomy that our spouses, partners, children, family and friends don't always get the attention and care that they need as well. I know l'm looking forward to hearing things from the caregiver's perspective! Please make note of the date change for this month.

Dear members, family, and friends,
Normally, we host our monthly meeting the 2nd Wednesday of every month. This year however, our meeting would fall on Wednesday Nov. 11th., which is Remembrance Day. We will not be hosting our meeting on this night.

**Instead, we will be meeting together on WEDESDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, starting at 7pm.**

What a beautiful evening! Thank you to Mrs. Darlene Vieira for coming in and sharing your expertise as a registered Travel Agent. l know l learned quite a bit! For example...VIA Rail has a wonderful program offering free tickets for 1 person who is a medical travel companion!(l may have the professional or technical name wrong here but l will verify!) There is also a Sunflower program you can join that is a lanyard you would wear when going through airports, terminals etc. To show workers that you have a hidden disability that may require additional requirements. I will try to post a sheet that was given to me, tomorrow. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE NOV. 4TH AT 7PM SAME LOCATION as our regular meeting would fall on Remembrance Day.

Hello everyone!! We hope you all had a wonderdul summer and were able to enjoy your time with family amd friends creating amazing memories! We are starting our meetings again on Wednesday September 9th at 7pm at Wellwise Home Health and Wellness located on the corner of McNaughton Ave and St.Clair St. right here in Chatham-Kent. We are happy to have Emily from Convetec join us to share information on any new products and answer questions you may have. Lisa, Darlene and l look forward to seeing you all soon!
