Toastmasters 3950 - South Calgary Welcome to the Fluor Communicators Page! You are welcome to join us as a guest every Tuesday @ 12PM MT. Please DM for the meeting link.

We are currently hosting hybrid meetings with in-person at Fluor Canada and online via Microsoft Teams. Are you intimidated by public speaking? Are you looking to improve your public speaking ability by learning tips, tricks, and getting the chance to practice? Or are you someone looking to improve your self-confidence, feedback, or listening skills? If you answered yes to 1 or more of those quest

ions, then Toastmasters is for you! Our club meets every Tuesday at 12:00pm and we welcome visitors every week! If you are interested in joining our club and becoming part of Fluor Communicators, any one of our members would be happy to speak with you more about it at one of our meetings.

Hi Everyone,

Did you know that in a cardiac emergency, a person’s chance of survival drops by 7% to 10% for every minute that passes without CPR?

In honor of National CPR & AED Awareness Week, our meeting theme today is "Every Second Counts." Whether you are administering life-saving care or delivering a timed speech, precision and timing are everything.

Come join us to practice your public speaking, learn something vital, and push your skills to the next level!

Word of the Day: Exacting (adjective: making great demands on one's skill, care, or attention; precise).

In Toastmasters, every member brings knowledge to guide someone else. If you miss your school or college days and crave that classroom-style group learning, look no further - Toastmasters is itself a university!
