Today, she is grateful every day for her organ donors and the second chance they gave her.

Pearl shares what it's like to live with CF and cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD), while pursuing her dream career as an athletic therapist and enjoying life with her beloved pets.

Diagnosed through newborn screening shortly after birth, Lyvia began treatment for CF at just over two weeks old. Carolane shares her story to show how progress has transformed the lives of people living with CF and why she continues to hope for a future where children like Lyvia can live without limits.

This is a huge win for Albertans with cystic fibrosis who could benefit from this treatment.

Today, we celebrate this step forward and everyone who helped make it happen. 💙 We won’t stop until every Canadian who could benefit has access, no matter where they live.
