September is National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month.

We’re proud to support people living with spinal cord injuries by providing life-changing service dogs.

For seven years, Duane and Trevoy have been a team. Trevoy helps Duane in all kinds of ways, from retrieving dropped items to soaking up the attention when Duane would rather stay out of the spotlight.

When Duane finds himself in a tough situation, Trevoy is there to help.

“He knows he’s my hero in that moment.”

This month, we’re celebrating partnerships like Duane and Trevoy’s, and the independence a service dog can support.

Our newest pup has arrived from our friends at Warrior Canine Connection.

When we asked our volunteer, Sarah, to choose a name for this sweet girl, she picked a perfect one.

"I know the WCC pups are all named after military personnel and my dad, Alastair, was a Staff Sergeant in the UK military, for 52 years retiring last year.”

So, meet Ali, named in honour of Sarah’s dad, Alastair.

Welcome to PADS, Ali! We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you 💛

We're pleased to share that Kiara is following in mom Morena's paw prints as a breeding dog - and she has just welcomed her first litter 💙💛

Kiara and proud dad Bentley welcomed brothers Crumble and Churro, and their sisters Butter II, Crinkle, Oreo, Peanut II, Snickerdoodle, and Sugar II.

In about eight weeks, Kiara's babies will head out into the world. Could you help them reach their potential? They’ll need puppy raisers to help guide them on their journeys, and we’re currently accepting applications
