Excited to kick off our Fall session tonight AND introduce you to someone new… 👀 Help us to welcome Sarah, who will be leading our Friday evening adaptive riding lessons! 👏🏼🤩
Sarah holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a diploma in Equine Science from Olds College, with training in both English and Western horsemanship.
Her equestrian background includes working with dressage and reining trainers in Canada and spending a year in Italy working for an American reining trainer. Back home, Sarah started and competed her own Swedish Warmblood mare in dressage for several years. She also founded a successful marketing business serving the equine industry.
After stepping away while raising her family, Sarah returned to the equine world and discovered a passion for therapeutic riding. She loves helping people with physical, developmental, and other challenges experience the confidence, connection, and enjoyment that can come from riding, interacting with, and simply being around horses.
We’re so grateful to have Sarah on the Prairie Sky Team. 🥰
Can’t wait to see all our riders & volunteers tonight with Sarah and Sunday morning with Vernon. Happy Fall, Y’all!🍂🐴🍁❤️
