BOWNESS! The city wants to hear from us. They have funding allocated to do a massive transformation to 'Bowwood Park' located on the corner of Bowness Road and 66th Street. Especially if you live near this park (but really anyone from Bowness is encouraged!) please take 5 minutes to have a look at the concepts they are presenting and give your thoughts. Coming up Next week Thursday October 15, 2026: Join us at this resident organized/led discussion regarding Planning & Development in our community. Hosted by the members of the Bowness Community Association Planning & Development Committee, we are inviting anyone interested to gather and to learn to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to the changes in our unique community. Starting at 7:00PM at the Bowness Scout & Guide Hall. All are welcome. No registration required.

*** This is a resident led initiative to educate and discuss among neighbours and friends. There will be no formal presentations regarding any particular current developments, any city representatives on site or any developers presenting. Please come for an evening to strategize and discuss and please recognize everyone involved is volunteering their time in an attempt to educate on different strategies to help your voice and opinion to be heard and to have an impact ***

Thats a wrap on the 35th Annual Bowness Stampede Parade & Breakfast! Thank you to everyone who came out to have some fun with us, to all of our AMAZING Sponsors (This would NOT happen without you!!), to all of our volunteers, parade participants, spectators, entertainers and everyone who helped organize and put the event together. Bowness always knows how to have a good time, and Saturday did not disappoint! See you all in 2027!
