243 Tuscany Scouts Youth Lead Scout Group in Northwest Calgary The 243 Tuscany Scouts operate in the Tuscany community of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Kids between 5 and 18 years of age enjoy the programs organized by the Beaver, Cub, Scout and Venturer sections. We even have a Rover section for youth over 18 years of age. It is a well known fact that it takes a village to raise a child. The commitment of our volunteers is to help the kids to shape their program, teach new skills, while having fun doing it. Our Troop went to the 2026 Bear Awareness Day at the Canmore Nordic Centre today. This is an annual event put on by Alberta Parks, Town of Canmore, Fish and Wildlife and the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley. There were lots of interesting exhibits and talks and the youth got to be trained on how to use bear spray. We even got to do a short hike and everyone had a great time.

Venturers (aged 14-17) from our 243 Tuscany Scouts are doing a bottle drive to help fundraise for their East Coast Trail summer adventure!
They’d be more than happy if you could support them by bring your empties to the Eric Harvie School this Saturday April 18th between 10am and 1pm. Thank you for continuing to support your local youth, Tuscany!
