Good morning!
We wanted to make a post this week reminding the group of a few things.
This community runs on volunteers. Full stop.
The Arbour Lake Community Association (ALCA) is run entirely by people who live here - your neighbours - giving their time to build something better for all of us.
From:
- Community events like our garage sale & Neighbour Day activities
- Programs like soccer (with Tech) and community gardens (we're working on it)
- Enhancing our spaces like playgrounds, athletic parks, and our fitness park
- Keeping everyone informed through social, email, and our website
👉 None of this happens without volunteers.
💡 A quick reminder:
The ALCA is separate from the Arbour Lake Residents Association (ALRA)
ALRA → Manages the lake, home owners association and lake access/activities
ALCA → Builds community, events, programs, and advocacy for the entire community including neighboring businesses

To participate in ALCA events and help shape what we do:

We’re planning our summer community events (like the annual Parade of Garage Sales) and we’re looking for volunteers to help bring it to life.
