Hi Neighbours!

Join us this year to make Halloween accessible to kids who need it.

Add your home here; it just takes 1 minute:
www.treataccessibly.com/join-your-street.

DEADLINE UPDATE: REGISTER YOUR HOME BEFORE SEPTEMBER 25.

We only need 19 more homes to register if you live on Arbour Lake Drive, Arbour Crest Rd, Arbour Crest Way, and Arbour Crest Crt.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, we can be a safe space for all the kids in our area, typically unintentionally excluded from trick-or-treating - it's easy; any home can do it. 300,000 homes have already done so across Canada.

Thanks! Your Treat Accessibly Street Captain, Adil Dhanani

Hi Neighbours, it's Adil, your neighbour on Arbour Crest Crt.

This Halloween (I know it's a ways away still, but big projects take lots of planning), let's make our street the most accessible one in the community for kids with disabilities.

Last Halloween, we set up a tent on our driveway to help kids like my daughter, Zaya, trick-or-treat using her walker. She can only ever get to a couple of houses and doesn't climb stairs independently. We also made sure to have treats for kids who don't do candy. And aids for kids who are non-verbal or have sensory needs.

Join us this year in making Halloween accessible for kids like her.

Add your home here and get details in less than a minute: www.treataccessibly.com/join-your-street.

💙 THANK YOU, ARBOUR LAKE! 💙

What a wonderful day!

On behalf of the Arbour Lake Community Association, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our 2026 Neighbour Day Celebration, Parade of Garage Sales, and Community Marketplace a success.

To our...

🏡 Residents who hosted garage sales
🛍️ Community members who came out to shop and explore
🤝 Local businesses and marketplace vendors
💚 Sponsors who believed in our vision
🙌 Volunteers who gave their time and energy
🚒 Community partners who helped make the day special

Thank you.

This was our first-ever Community Marketplace, and while there were certainly lessons learned, we were incredibly encouraged by the support we received from our community.

Throughout the day we saw:
✨ Neighbours meeting neighbours
✨ Families enjoying the marketplace
✨ Local businesses connecting with residents
✨ Electronics diverted from the landfill
✨ New friendships and partnerships being formed

Most importantly, we saw what's possible when a community comes together.

This event wasn't just about one Saturday—it was about building momentum for the future of the Arbour Lake Community Association.

We're already taking your feedback and ideas and look forward to making next year's event even bigger and better.

If you'd like to help shape the future of our community, we'd love to have you involved. Whether that's becoming an ALCA member, volunteering, sponsoring an event, or simply attending future activities, every contribution helps.

Together, we're building a stronger, more connected Arbour Lake.

Thank you for being part of it.

💙 Here's to an even bigger and better 2027!
