What an egg-cellent day!🐣 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Easter Extravaganza. From egg hunts and races to face painting and more, it was a joy to see so many smiling faces.🐰💐 Even with the cold, the energy and turnout were amazing. Congratulations to our lucky chocolate bunny raffle winner! A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, this event wouldn’t have been possible without you.😄

Green Flag Conditions at the Lake! We’re open for ice fishing and skating from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Warm weather has caused red flag conditions, and the lake is now closed. There is no skating or ice fishing permitted at this time. Our office is open until 6 PM. We appreciate your understanding.

Due to the warm weather, ice conditions have worsened. For everyone’s safety, the lake will close at 6:00 PM until further notice. We are now at yellow flag conditions. Skating is not permitted. Ice fishing remains open. We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated as conditions change.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2026 Ice Fishing Derby! 🎣❄️

We had an amazing day on the ice with great fishing, a delicious lunch, and lots of fun prizes.

This year was especially meaningful as we honoured Dennis, a well-known and respected fisherman in our community who passed away last year. Dennis was an avid angler who was always willing to help others learn how to fish. His kindness and love for the lake have left a lasting impact on our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Dennis’ family for generously donating special trophies and prizes for the smallest fish, youngest fisher, and most fish caught. We are incredibly grateful for their support and for helping us celebrate Dennis’ legacy in such a meaningful way.

We also held a special fly rod raffle for kids, generously donated by our management team, to encourage young anglers to get into fly fishing. We love seeing the next generation out on the water. 🎣🐟

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special! 😄

Our annual Polar Plunge with The Law Enforcement Torch Run takes place on March 7th in support of Special Olympics Alberta. You can support this incredible cause by jumping in, donating, or by coming to watch and cheer on the brave plungers!

The lake is under green-flag conditions and fully open for skating and ice fishing. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 20th, we’ll be open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
