Canyon Meadows Community Association The Canyon Meadows Community Association is a volunteer run not for profit community organization.

Canyon Meadows Community Association was established 40 years ago and over those years as the community grew, so did we. We now have two halls, a fully outfitted kitchen, a lower meeting room, two ice rinks & heated rink room. Our goal is to serve our community and we welcome suggestions from our members to help us keep up-to-date on the needs of residents.

Paid Opportunity for Local Families: Feature in Lifestyle Photo Shoots!
Looking for a fun, easy way for your family to earn some extra money? Maven Media Group, a local Calgary video production agency, is building a roster of local families and individuals for upcoming paid lifestyle photo and video shoots for a local developer.
The Details:
• Pay: $75/hour per person for a 2-hour commitment. (e.g., a family of 4 earns $600 for a 2-hour shoot).
• Onscreen Activities: These shoots are a literal walk in the park! No speaking or script memorization is required. The camera crew will simply film your family doing everyday activities—like walking in the park, riding bikes, or playing in a backyard.
• How it Works: By signing up you’ll join a roster. When a specific shoot comes up that matches your family Maven Media Group will reach out with dates and details to see if you're available.

If your youth is looking for opportunities to gain experience, build confidence, and earn a little extra money, consider creating a simple flyer with odd jobs they can help with and sharing it with neighbours. Yard work, dog walking, tech help, babysitting, snow shovelling, garden watering... tiny jobs can grow into big community connections. 🌱
