UCFSA presents Pulang Mata: A Forbidden Love Story 🥀

Join us for our annual Cultural Nite production at the Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall (Central Library) on June 5, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM.

Doors Open: 4:00 PM
Show Begins: 5:00 PM

Set against the backdrop of Filipino folklore, Pulang Mata: A Forbidden Love Story follows Cora, a young hunter torn between duty, fear, and compassion after forming an unexpected bond with Lorenzo, a mysterious stranger hiding a dangerous secret. As their connection deepens, tensions rise within their town, forcing Cora and her childhood best friend Arnel to confront what it truly means to be human.

Filled with romance, cultural storytelling, and vibrant performances, this original production explores love, trust, and the courage to see beyond fear.

We’ve worked hard to bring you another celebration of Filipino culture that you won’t want to miss!
