Graduate Students' Association of the University of Calgary A student run organization, dedicated to enhancing the experience of all graduate students.

A non-for-profit organization governed by U of C graduate students, the GSA is charged with promoting and serving the social, academic and practical well-being and growth of graduate students on campus. The GSA oversees and promotes workshops, special events, the provision of financial aid and support as well as the facilitation of career-based growth and development for graduate students as they progress through their university programs.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026–2027 GSA Elections!

This year, 1,431 graduate students cast their ballots through online voting using the instant runoff method, marking an impressive 18% increase in graduate student participation since last year 🙌

Your participation elected 7 members of Council who will represent and advocate for our graduate community.

Every vote matters, and your voice is what shapes the future of our campus 💙

🗳️ Voting uses Instant Runoff Voting, meaning you will rank candidates in order of preference rather than choosing just one.
