Calgary Telangana Association is proud to have participated under the Indo Calgary umbrella in this collective effort to give back and help save lives. Thanks to all the donors who rolled up their sleeves, the volunteers who tirelessly coordinated, and Canadian Blood Services for enabling our community to be part of Canada’s lifeline.

Every unit donated today will make a real difference for patients in need, and the strong response from our Calgary Indian community shows what is possible when organizations come together for a common cause. Let’s keep this spirit going and continue to support future drives by booking appointments, encouraging first-time donors, and spreading the word.

CTA secured 2nd place in the CMA Inter-Association Carroms Tournament, and we couldn’t be more proud of our amazing players Don Ash and Khan for their outstanding performance. 💪👏 Their focus, teamwork, and competitive spirit truly stood out!
A big thank you to Calgary Marathi Association CMA for organizing such a fantastic event, and kudos to all teams for the spirited competition. 👏

In an interaction with National Times, representatives from various Indian organizations in Calgary emphasized that the Blood Donation Drive is a collaborative endeavor aimed at serving the community and saving lives. The event, organized by All Indo Calgary Organisations, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Penn West Plaza, Calgary Tower, from 8:00 AM to 2:25 PM. Under the motto “Foster a life with a drop of your blood,” the initiative invites all individuals to participate and contribute. National Times Media Group is honored to be the Media Partner for this noble initiative.
