The magic of the season is back, and so is the Holiday Hamper Program at BGC Peel!
As a charitable non-profit, we dedicate ourselves year-round to providing children and youth with a safe, supportive space to overcome barriers, build life skills, and grow in confidence.
When winter arrives, our mission turns toward delivering pure joy and holiday happiness to families across the region.
This incredible initiative is 100% donor and corporate sponsorship driven. Every year, our generous community helps us support over 100 families and 400 individuals. However, the need in 2026 has grown significantly, and we need your holiday spirit to make spirits bright.
Here is how you can become a holiday hero and answer our biggest needs:
1. $100 Gift Cards for Youth (Ages 13–17): We give these directly to parents, empowering them with the pride of choosing the perfect gifts for their teenagers.
2. Toys and Items for Kids (Ages 9–12): While we are blessed with early donations for younger children, we urgently need gifts tailored for boys and girls in this older bracket.
3. Food Gift Cards ($25, $50, and $100 Increments): These ensure families can share a warm, festive holiday meal. Crucially, they also sustain families from January through March, a time when food insecurity remains high but donations typically drop.
