Black Leaders Of Tomorrow - Peel Mentees must reside in the Region of Peel and between 16 and 24 years old.

The Black Leaders of Tomorrow (BLT) program is a business mentoring program for Black youth, aged 16 to 24 years from Peel Region, who wish to acquire the skills and knowledge to run a business successfully. Considering 30% of businesses don’t make it past the first 2 years while those who have the support of a mentor have a 70% success rate, joining the Black Leaders of Tomorrow (BLT) Youth Busin

ess Mentoring program is paramount to the Black business community. Specifically, the BLT program is a business mentoring program for Black youth who wish to acquire the skills and knowledge to run a business successfully or embark on the journey of becoming an entrepreneur and wish to reap the benefits of having a mentor. This engaging initiative offers the opportunity for young people to be mentored by a seasoned professional who supports them in developing a business plan which they can use to attract investors and gain access to capital. Mentees will also attend innovative workshops, group meetups and hone their business skills while having access to a supportive network.

Are you a Black, African and Caribbean (BAC) youth in Peel Region with big ideas and goals for the future?

Our Black Leaders of Tomorrow (BLT) program is here to support you.

Over 12 weeks, you’ll connect with mentors, build practical skills in business and financial literacy, and learn strategies to help turn your vision into action.

Through BLT, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your confidence, expand your network, and be part of a supportive community of young leaders and professionals.

Participants will also receive a $400 honorarium upon completion of the program.

Our Black Leaders of Tomorrow (BLT) program is looking for dedicated mentors to help guide Black, African, and Caribbean (BAC) youth in Peel Region.

Over 12 weeks, you’ll share your experiences, support youth in building business and financial literacy skills, and help them develop strategies to turn their ideas into action.
