Well it looks the weather is taking turn for the better for now, so consider joining us for our Mixed Golf Tournament July 25th at the Grand Centre Golf and Country Club! There will be prizes up for grabs, Longest Drive & Putt for both Men’s and Ladies! There is a few closest to the Pins as well. First place team will take home $1000.00! Steak Supper is planned too! Good day everyone!

We are pleased to announce we are moving forward with our 2nd annual Oilmen’s Mixed Golf Tournament! This year the tournament will take place in Cold Lake at the Grand Centre Golf & Country Club on Saturday July 25, 2026! We are very excited to work with Grand Centre Golf & Country Club!!! They have beautiful course and newly renovated Clubhouse that will comfortably accommodate us all this year.

Last year we had a very successful turnout with 25 teams (100 golfers)! Thank you to all that were able to join us last year along with a special thank you go out to all our sponsors! There were such positive reviews from all those that attended.

This year’s format will be a 4-person mixed team (2 ladies & 2 gents) Scramble! Each person will hit from the tee box. The team will decide on the best ball & all four players will hit their next shots from that spot, repeating the process until holed out. Each team member must use 2 drives.

There will be Hole-in-Ones on the course again. String game on the green only $5/foot & $10 Mulligans (No Mulligans on Hole-in-Ones). 1st Place Team receives $1000.00 cash. Lots of prizes that will be given away!

Deadline for Entries: July 20, 2026, or until sold out. Looking for 36 teams in total. First Come First Serve!

The time has finally come for Emery to begin his journey to Bangkok, Thailand, where he will represent our community, and Team Canada🇨🇦, at the Amazing Muay Thai World Festival next week.

We had special piece of furniture made by Allan O’Shea of Ro'sheas. It was a Table crib board that the Bonnyville Oilmen’s donated to the Bonnyville Lodge in Loving Memory of Lorna Best (Jon Best) mom. Allan was up for the challenge with no hesitation! His craftsmanship is very meticulous, taking care with every part & piece that was made. He kept in contact along its progression. Vice President Ray Lessard presents Olivia Bouvier-Shackletona $2000 donation to the Bonnyville & District SPCA on behalf of the Bonnyville Oilmens Lobster Committee.

Oilmen’s Riley Herzog presents Mark Reid a $1000 donation to go towards the Children’s Charity Golf Classic, in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The importance of this years donation is that it will be doubled($2000). The CPKC Women’s Open picked the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation as their 2026 primary tournament charity partner. Meaning that every donation made to the Children’s Charity Golf Classic will be matched & will have double the impact for cardiac kids at the Stollery. You can still donate to this worthy cause by contacting Mark Reid.

This is what community looks like! Communities gather behind events that matter to people. Emery Ringuette has worked very hard in recent years to be able to represent Canada at the 2026 Amazing Muay Thai World Festival in Bangkok Thailand to be held June 25-29. A donation of $500 was given by Oilmens President Donovan Hilliar & we wish Emery all the best as he competes & creates lasting memories for himself, family & his club(Kempe Fitness & Fighting)

It was a busy week(June 1-7 Seniors week) for the Bonnyville Seniors Centre!! This year the Centre celebrated their 50th Anniversary!!
