🌟 The Duclos H.E. Bourgoin Support Group Foundation is excited to kick off another fantastic year! 🌟

We recently held our first Foundation meeting of the school year, and we couldn't be more excited about the amazing fundraising goals, ideas, and initiatives that our individual School Parent Councils have brought to the table. It's inspiring to see so much creativity and dedication focused on enriching opportunities for our students!

We're also exploring some exciting new fundraising opportunities at the Foundation level that will help us continue supporting students across our school communities.

Want to know what your school's Parent Council has planned this year? Interested in getting involved and helping make a difference? We encourage all parents and community members to attend their School Council meetings and learn more about the projects and fundraisers happening at their school.

We're also always looking for passionate individuals to join our Foundation team! Whether you can contribute a little time or a lot, we'd love to welcome new members who share our commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for students.

✨ Making a Difference for Students Every Day! ✨

The Duclos - H.E. Bourgoin Support Group Foundation is proud to support meaningful experiences and opportunities that enrich the lives of students at both Duclos School and H.E. Bourgoin School.

During the 2025-2026 school year, the Foundation helped make several memorable activities and programs possible:

Duclos School
🔬 Science in Motion brought science to life through exciting experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, making learning fun, dynamic, and easier to understand.
🎿 Provided bussing for student trips to Kinosoo Ridge, helping students enjoy outdoor recreation and new experiences.
🌭 Supported the School-Wide BBQ on Sports Day, bringing students and staff together to celebrate an active year.

H.E. Bourgoin School
🌳 Supported the Grade 8 Legacy Tree Project, allowing students to vote on and plant a tree to commemorate their time at HEB.
Supported Wheelchair Sports, helping students experience adaptive sports and build awareness, inclusion, and teamwork.
🎿 Helped offset some of the costs associated with the Kinosoo Ski Trip.
🦁 Supported the purchase of the brand-new HEB mascot, helping build school spirit and pride.

❤️ Beyond supporting student experiences, the Foundation also believes in recognizing the incredible people who care for our children each day. This year, the Foundation showed its appreciation through:
🍎 Staff Appreciation Day
🚌 Bus Driver Appreciation

Every fundraiser, donation, and volunteer effort helps create these opportunities for students while supporting the people who make our schools such special places to learn and grow.

PLEASE NOTE! WE HAVE RESCHEDULED OUR AGM!

Due to scheduling conflicts, we have had to reschedule our Foundation AGM
from April 28, 2026 to May 5, 2026. We apologize and hope you can all still make it!

We will be sharing details of our financials and an exciting report of how we helped our kiddos this past year.

We will also hold elections for the following positions:
President
Vice president
Treasurer
Secretary
Directors at large (3)

We absolutely need ALL these positions in order to function as a charitable foundation with a gaming license and continue to do amazing things for our kids!

Also, we are proud to announce we have been selected to have another casino this year (it was at our last casino that raised over $10,000 for each school!)
