June is PTSD Awareness Month, an important reminder that trauma can affect the mind, body, relationships, sleep, mood, and daily life in ways that are not always visible.

PTSD is not a sign of weakness. It is a response to overwhelming experiences, and it deserves compassion, understanding, and proper support.

In this PSYCHEDUP episode, Dr. Diane McIntosh explores PTSD, trauma, and mental health through real-life experiences and expert insight, helping open the conversation around what healing and support can look like.

Migraine is often misunderstood - but its impact is real, far-reaching, and too often minimized.

This Migraine Awareness Month, we’re recognizing the very real ways migraine can affect daily life - from work and relationships to overall well-being, including mental health.

No one should have to navigate that alone, or feel dismissed when seeking care.

Let’s continue to build understanding, reduce stigma, and support those living with migraine.

People living with depression often internalize the same harsh judgments society places on them. It’s called self-stigma, and it’s one of the most damaging effects of mental illness.

When the world treats depression as weakness, those suffering can start to believe it too. They may feel unworthy of compassion, support, or even recovery. And that belief can take away the one thing we all need to heal: hope.

But no one deserves to suffer in silence. đź’› And no one should feel ashamed for living with depression.

Mental health care shouldn’t come with a waitlist. ⏳

It shouldn’t depend on where you live. 📍
And it shouldn’t come too late.

Across Canada, people are struggling to access the support they need, when they need it.

We have a chance to push for change. ✉️

Send a letter to your MP and support investments in community mental health services that meet people where they are.

Because mental health is health and everyone deserves care without delay. đź’›
