More than 10,000 adults with an intellectual disability are living in nursing homes—not because they need to be there, but because accessible, affordable housing and the supports they need to live in community are too often out of reach.

This is a housing issue.
It’s an inclusion issue.
And it’s an issue of human rights.

Inclusion Canada believes everyone has the right to live in a home of their own, in a community of their choosing, with the supports they need to live a full and inclusive life.

We need housing solutions that include people with intellectual disabilities, not systems that leave them behind.

CLASS encourages people to contribute to their communities through volunteering, local employment, and everyday participation across South Simcoe.
Contributing to the community can happen in many ways — through volunteering, helping others, participating in events, working locally, or simply being involved in everyday community life.

These experiences help build confidence, relationships, skills, and stronger connections throughout the community.

Help us spread the word and follow along as we continue helping people get to know CLASS and the many ways people contribute every day.
