The next National Housing Strategy is being written right now. Let’s make sure it gets this right.

Homelessness keeps rising and nearly one million more Canadians are on the verge of losing their homes. We’re calling on the federal government to adopt a five-point plan to prevent and reduce homelessness by:

➡️building a stronger housing safety net
➡️investing in deeply affordable housing
➡️establishing Intensive Housing
➡️creating a national homelessness strategy
➡️and bringing every order of government together through a Canada Housing Accord.

We have a once-in-a-decade opportunity to change course, but only if Ottawa hears from Canadians now.

Adriana Jane Duivenvoorden of Belledune, who passed away on November 12, was always grateful for the blessings she enjoyed and deeply compassionate toward those facing hardship. In keeping with her wishes to support charities that help poor and vulnerable individuals, a generous donation of $5,000 has been made by her estate to Bathurst HumanKind Network.
