What a lovely Tartan Day evening we had!
Great food, fantastic entertainment, and wonderful company — it really was one of those nights where everything just came together.
A big thank you to Nancy and Janice, along with the wonderful helpers at the Bathurst Heritage Museum, for all the work that went into organising such a special event. And thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great atmosphere.
We were treated to Betty MacPherson’s Grave Situation — a touching piece of musical theatre about a Scottish lassie on the Bay of Chaleur who finds rejection, then love and acceptance far from the Highlands, with the help of local Irish and Acadian communities.
A special thank you to Kevin Mann and The Treblemakers for providing such brilliant entertainment afterwards — you really made the night.
And of course, the chicken bouillon, dessert, and tea/coffee just added to the whole warm, community feel of the evening.
