Walk To Make Cystic Fibrosis History- Bathurst, NB

After three unforgettable years of organizing the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History in Bathurst, our family has made the decision to step back from coordinating the event this year. This was not an easy choice, but it's one we made with full hearts and deep gratitude.

The Bathurst community has shown us unwavering love and support—especially for our daughter, Edith—and we are endlessly thankful to every volunteer, walker, and donor who stood beside us to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis.

This year, we’ll be participating in the Fredericton walk as a family. We’re looking forward to experiencing the event from a different perspective and continuing to walk in honor of Edith and all those affected by CF.

While we won’t be organizing the walk in Bathurst this time, we remain committed to this cause and will continue supporting the fundraiser with everything we’ve got. We would love to have some familiar faces from Bathurst join us in Fredericton—either by walking with us or supporting our team from afar.

We’ll be posting the link to Edith’s Team below. Everyone is welcome to join us—or feel free to create your own team and participate however you can.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you, Bathurst. You’ve made an incredible impact, and we’re so proud of everything we accomplished together.

We would like to thank CARSTAR Canada for being one of Cystic Fibrosis Canada major sponsors, with 5 million in donations over the past 25 years. With these generous donations, there have been many breakthroughs in research nearly doubling the life expectancy in people living with cystic fibrosis.

We would like to thank CARSTAR Bathurst and their team for their sponsorship and presence at our local walk this year. The team from carstar was so friendly and had some really cool swag for our walkers. Thank you so much Bathurst. We look forward to working with you again!

Taking a moment to thank the Kinsmen Club of Bathurst is simply not enough. Our Kin family poured their hearts and souls into this event, and we recognized all the hard work they put in. The Kinsmen have been a shining light for so many families in our community and have made an impact on many.
