Shak's World

09/17/2026

There’s more to Shak’s World than what you see on the court. ❤️🏀

We often get questions about who we are, what we offer, and how Shak’s World is funded so we wanted to clear up a few misconceptions.

Shak’s World is a Federal Not For Profit that has been serving our community since 2020. We are not government funded, which means the work happening inside our doors is made possible largely through the generosity of philanthropists, local businesses, community partners, donors, and people who believe in investing in young people.

And while basketball is a big part of our story, we are so much more than basketball. Our youth have opportunities to explore art, cooking, chess, STEM, soccer, karate, floor hockey, badminton, they can also receive mentorship, life skills programs and other drop-in programming designed to help them discover new interests, build confidence, stay active and feel connected.

Every partnership, donation, sponsorship and person who walks through our doors helps us continue creating a space where young people can belong, learn, play and grow.

When you support Shak’s World, you’re not simply supporting a program you’re helping create opportunities for the next generation. ❤️🧠

Interested in supporting, sponsoring or partnering with us? Send us a message we’d love to connect.
