We will be having a Celebration of Life for Lion John De Crombrugghe on Saturday at the Alliston Lions Hall at 1pm. Lion John D was a beloved member of our Club. Always ready to help and give back to our community. He will be missed for his guidance and his wisdom that was shared with us all. Rest easy Lion John ❤️

The Alliston Lions were proud to take part in the Chris Lewis Day of Service this past weekend. Our members gathered at the Sir Frederick Banting Homestead before heading out for our annual road cleanup—doing our small part to keep our community clean and beautiful.

This day is a meaningful reminder of what Lions do best: coming together in service, inspired by the spirit of giving back that connects communities across our district and beyond.

Thank you to the Banting Legacy Foundation for your kind words and continued partnership. We are always grateful for the opportunity to serve.

Our Lions community is saddened to share the passing of Lion John De Crombrugghe.

John was the definition of “We Serve.” His dedication, work ethic, and commitment to doing things the right way left a lasting mark on our club and our community. He gave countless hours in service, quietly making a difference
and setting a standard for others to follow.

Many of us were fortunate to work alongside him, learn from him, and be inspired by his steady presence and strong sense of purpose. His impact will be felt for years to come.

Thank you, John, for everything you gave—to Lions, and to all of us.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Allison Stumpo on receiving an International President’s Leadership Award from Lions Clubs International.
This prestigious recognition is presented to Lions who demonstrate outstanding leadership, dedication, and impact within their club, district, and community. Lions Clubs International is one of the largest service organizations in the world, with a mission rooted in strengthening communities through service, compassion, and leadership.
Allison truly embodies what it means to be a Lion. Through her commitment, positivity, and willingness to lead, she has made a meaningful difference not only within the Alliston Lions Club, but across our district. Her leadership helps inspire others to serve, grow, and make an impact.
On behalf of the Alliston Lions Club, we congratulate Allison on this well-deserved honour. We are grateful for everything she brings to our club and excited to see her continued success and leadership in the years ahead.

A little friendly competition at our Lions meeting last night with the game “Anything but Yes or No.”

Quick thinking required… the rules were simple… the challenge was not!

Lots of laughs and a few people caught saying the forbidden words. Great fun with a great group of Lions. 🦁🦁🦁

This was Delivery Weekend and the Conclusion of our 2025 Alliston Lions Christmas Food and Toy Hamper Campaign.

Those pictured, Lions, Family Members and Friends along with others gave so much of their time, the long hours/days, the energy and the personal expense from their hectic schedules to bring much needed joy and happiness to 192 families, 250+ children this Christmas Season.

"You want something done, give it to a busy person, they always have time."

Toques off to these Alliston Lions for a terrific time representing our Club last Sunday... Just curious as to what is in all those travel mugs by those in attendance along the route?

Our Club is Proud of our Association with the Alliston Hornets Club. Friday Night was a terrific example of the partnership we have with the Hornets. Sincere thanks to the Hornets Executive for organizing the Teddy Bear Toss. All these bears will stay in our community to those in need.
