On behalf of all of us here at SHIFT we are deeply saddened by the loss of Tina Molenaar.
Many of us know Tina as a former volunteer, Board member and long-time supporter of S.H.I.F.T . She was there in the earliest days, when the organization had few resources and depended almost entirely on volunteers. Tina gave not only her time, but her voice and standing in the community, advocating for S.H.I.F.T and helping build the credibility and support that allowed it to grow. Her contribution to S.H.I.F.T has become immeasurable.
Her legacy will live most profoundly in her family, in the four children she loved so fiercely, and in the many lives shaped by her generosity, faith and belief in others. S.H.I.F.T is only one part of what she leaves behind, but we are profoundly better because she was part of our story. She will be deeply missed.
