Don’t ignore sin.

Read Psalm 32:1–7.t
Is there a sin in your life that you think no one knows about? Don’t allow it to grow or become a habit; confess it now. Tell Jesus about it and ask him to forgive you he’ll help you overcome it

Psalm 32:1.

What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over!

Beware of bad influences

Read Psalm 141:1–4

Are you spending too much time with non-Christians? Do you see yourself sharing their attitudes and copying their actions? God wants you to keep yourself pure, and that include staying away from people who will have a bad influence on you.

Proverbs 13:20

Be with wisemen and become wise. Be with evil men and become evil.

Run from temptation

First Corinthians 10:6–7, 12–14.

Do you sometimes find it hard to say no to temptation? When you’re tempted to commit any sin, remember that God always provides a way for you to escape. But you have to do your part two. Often that involves getting out of situations that could bring about defeat. In fact, you should run from them.

Second, Timothy 2:22

Flea the evil desires.

Have a thankful heart.

Read Psalm 138:1–5.

What’s in your heart? Try to be aware of all the good things God does for you each day. Then instead of complaining, continually thank him. This will give you a truly thankful heart.

Ephesians 5:20

Giving things always for all things to God, the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Learn to adjust

read first Timothy 6:6–8

Do you have to adjust to a new Bible school class, home, school, or family member? If you see only the bad things about your new situation, you will miss out on the good things God has for you. Don’t sit back and pout. Instead, ask God to help you adjust.

Philippians 4:11

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

Except the consequences of sin

Read Hebrews 12:5– have you tried something wrong because you were curious or because others pressured you into it? Accept God‘s ready forgiveness when you confess you sin, but also remember that you will still experience the consequences of that. Sin is dangerous and not something to be played with.

Revelation, 3:19

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be Ernest, and repent.
