National AccessAbility Week is here!

This year’s theme, “Building a Strong, Accessible Canada," celebrates the leadership of persons with disabilities and the communities working to remove barriers.

Archway is proud to be an inclusive employer and also provides employment assistance to those with barriers through our Employing People in Community program.

Following the end of Archway’s role in operating the Recycling Program, we’ve been working to connect former staff with new opportunities – including positions with the City of Mission’s Landfill Clean‑Up Crew, where team members pick up litter and remove invasive plants.

School’s almost out for summer—but for for hundreds of children in Abbotsford that also means losing access to the breakfasts and lunches they count on all year long and their regular Starfish weekend packs.

Our Summer Starfish Pack Program helps bridge that gap for children in Abbotsford, ensuring they continue to receive food through July and August. This summer we're expecting more than 500 students to sign up. It’s all made possible by the generosity of people like YOU right here in our community.

Help ensure children have access to healthy, nutritious food all summer long, so they can return to school in the fall, healthy, energized, and ready to learn.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to reflect, learn, and celebrate the rich histories, vibrant cultures, and lasting contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

This month is an important opportunity to honour the strength, resilience, and heritage of Indigenous communities, while also deepening our understanding of the challenges they continue to face. It invites us to listen, learn, and stand in meaningful solidarity.

To help you take part, we’ve compiled a list of Indigenous events, exhibits, and activities happening throughout June in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
