Mladezhda is more than proud to share our participation in the TC ‘Beyond Borders’, which brought together young people from different countries to explore topics of migration, identity and intercultural dialogue. It took place in Tykocin, Poland 18-27th February.
During the project, participants dived into real talks about migration, busted some myths, explored the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum (2024), and learned how to better support migrant and refugee youth. A lot of workshops, simulations, deep conversations and new perspectives. As a result of this process, the participants created a collection of stories that reflect their journeys, challenges and perspectives called moving stories.

These stories were later combined into a web page that gathers the participants’ narratives together with visual and creative elements developed during the project. The publication represents the voices of young people and promotes empathy, understanding and intercultural dialogue.

Beyond the tangible results, the project also helped participants build confidence, develop communication skills and create meaningful friendships across cultures. Many participants continue to stay in contact after the project, showing the lasting impact of the experience.
