Monirul (pseudonym) is a student at a madrasa and orphanage in the remote hilly areas of Rangamati in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. He has lost his father. Despite growing up in an orphanage, he has already memorized 20 paras (sections) of the Holy Qurâan. A donor has taken responsibility for covering the rest of his education at a cost of only 2,500 BDT per month.
There are many more orphan students like him studying Hifz (Qurâan memorization) in madrasas across the remote hilly regions of Bandarban, Khagrachari and Rangamati. You too can take responsibility for supporting one such student. We will directly connect you with the student and the madrasa.
It is worth mentioning that due to the lack of access to quality formal education in many remote hilly areas, madrasa education is rapidly becoming a means of achieving self-reliance. Therefore, we provide support to this stream of education in those regions.
