A bit of a feel good post
We do love seeing our trolley like this! Every little bit of food that's in date and unopened helps someone who is doing it hard in our community. We really do appreciate the donations.

‼️We can’t believe we have to make this post‼️

Please do not dump household rubbish in our donation trolleys. It’s absolutely disgusting, disrespectful and wrong.

It puts us in a terrible place when we go to collect the trolleys and there is rubbish in there. It’s disheartening to us. Plus we are the ones that have to dispose of your junk.

"🛒 Want to help support the Mobile Community Pantry? – Here’s What We Need! 🛒

Please note we can only accept in date food if it's out of date we can't accept it! We do not want anyone to get sick! We also only accept unopened food for the same reason.

We’re running low on:

🫖Tea, Coffee, Sugar small bags, long life milk or powder milk we will always need these!

🍪Biscuits (sweet or savory)

🧼Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, deodorant men's and women's, toothbrush, baby nappies, female hygiene products, toilet paper, baby wipes, soap

🧹Cleaning Products (dish soap, surface cleaners, paper towels, small bags of washing powder etc.)

Other donations are always welcome too!
Pasta, Rice, Cereal (both regular and gluten-free) and canned goods (soups, vegetables, tuna, fruit, etc) Spreads like jam,peanut butter, Vegemite. dog and cat food is also needed.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Even the smallest of donation can make a difference in someone's life.

Donations can be dropped off in the Wonthaggi Woolworths donation trolley or at the Wonthaggi IGA donation trolley. We also accept fresh fruit and vegetables on the Wednesday we are there. We do ask that people don't drop things off to the RSL until we are there as this makes a mess for us to clean up.

Hello everyone.

Just a reminder that we are not an OP Shop.
Due to limited space we cannot accommodate anything other than food and a very small amount of clothes.

Please do not leave bags of unwanted and broken toys, household items and clothes in the donation trolleys. If you wish to donated season appropriate clothes, please do so only on the day we are at the RSL.

We would love to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated to us. We were able to help 26 people today wich we wouldn't be able to do without your help and support!
We would also like to say a massive thank you to the Wonthaggi RSL Sub Branch for there continued support and generosity in allowing us to use there fridge and freezer so we can give people more choices.
We will be back at the Wonthaggi RSL Sub Branch next Wednesday.

We are all set up Wonthaggi RSL Sub Branch with a selection of household essentials and laundry things. Please feel free to come down and see us if you are in need. We will be here until 2.00pm. We do ask for everyone to be respectful of us and of the RSL who are very kindly letting us run from there building, which means following the RSL rules.

ON TODAY 1PM UNTIL 2PM
A reminder please don't come to the RSL before 11.45am

📢 The Mobile Community Pantry will be in its usual spot this Wednesday at the Wonthaggi RSL Sub Branch 1pm until 2pm! 🛻

Someone will be there from about 10.30am if anyone wishes to drop things off please come to the back of the Wonthaggi RSL Sub Branch if you are donating things.

Come along and grab pantry staples, toiletries, and household essentials—no questions asked and no judgement, just take what you need. We do ask that everyone is respectful of all who come to us and that bullying will not be tolerated!❤️

Just a quick reminder to everyone to please if you are donating to us on the day to please only do so when we areat the RSL and not to leave things at the door as this makes a mess we have to clean up.

Items are donated by the community, so availability varies, and it's first come, first served. Look for the White Ute with Owls 🦉and people in hi vis jacket with Owls on the back to find us.

Just a quick heads up that we would love some donations of cleaning products! Dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, cleaning sponges, paper towels.
Donations can be dropped off to the trolley at Wonthaggi Woolworths or Wonthaggi IGA both get picked up regularly.
