Some members don't just join APS, they grow with us đź’™

Raymond joined in 1974 as a young RAAF recruit, just starting out in life with a wife and a small child. What he found was a team that had his back, from peace of mind in those early years, to small loans that helped him get on his feet, to eventually sharing his benefits with his wife and watching his children and grandchildren join too.

Are you or someone you love a long-standing APS member? We'd love to hear your story.

We're proud to be a Match Grant Hero this June for REACH Siem Reap , a not-for-profit based in Cambodia that is doing truly remarkable work.

REACH provides children and young people in Cambodia with access to education, health and nutrition programs, giving families a real chance to break the cycle of poverty.

We will be doubling every dollar donated through our page this June, so your generosity goes twice as far for the kids and families at REACH who need it most.

All donations are also tax-deductible, so it's a great way to give back before the end of the financial year.

We'd love for you to get behind this cause with us. You can donate at https://doubleyourreach2026.raiselysite.com/aps-benefits-group

The 2026 / 27 Federal Budget has landed, and like most budgets, there’s a lot to unpack.

From tax cuts and healthcare funding to housing reforms and support for small businesses, the Government is trying to balance immediate cost-of-living relief with longer-term economic pressures.

For many Australians, the real question is: What does this actually mean for me? Here’s a closer look at some of the biggest announcements and who stands to benefit most.

Tony and Rita have been part of APS since the 1970s, joining in their twenties without knowing just how important that decision would become.

Over the years, the APS team has supported them through raising a family, planning for retirement, and putting the right structures in place for the future.

We believe that financial well-being isn’t just about one moment, but having the right support across every stage of life.

You might have seen the recent headlines about estate disputes in wealthy families, including Perri Cutten and Nick Andrianakos.

While these cases often make the news, situations like this are more common than most people realise and aren’t limited to high-net-worth families. Whether it’s partners, children or siblings, disputes often come down to unclear planning and unmet expectations.

So how can you avoid disputes, protect your loved ones and ensure your wishes are carried out exactly as you wish?

It’s something many people don’t like to think about, but it happens more often than you might expect.   Families fall into dispute after the loss of a ...
