Wide Bay Thai Community Inc. was delighted and proud to share our Thai culture, traditional food and community spirit with people from many different cultural backgrounds.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre (HBNC) for giving us this wonderful opportunity and for always supporting our community. 💐

A heartfelt thank you to every member of the Thai community who generously gave their time and worked together to prepare the food, organise the stall, perform and support the event. This wonderful day would not have been possible without everyone’s kindness, dedication and teamwork. ❤️🙏

Today, Wide Bay Thai Community Inc. had the opportunity to attend the CAMS BBD Reference Group Meeting hosted by Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre 💛

It was a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share ideas with local community leaders, organisations, and multicultural groups across the Fraser Coast region.

We were also pleased to meet and speak with Ellen Han from Multicultural Affairs Queensland – Community Engagement Team. It was wonderful to share information about our Thai community activities and discuss ways to continue strengthening multicultural connections within our region 🙏

Thank you to Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre and everyone involved for creating such a welcoming and supportive space for community collaboration ❤️

Yesterday, representatives from Wide Bay Thai Community Inc were honoured to meet with Fiona Simpson and David Lee to discuss multicultural communities in Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast region.

We were grateful for the opportunity to share the activities and vision of our Thai community, including cultural connection, community wellbeing, inclusion, and future community initiatives that support people of all backgrounds.

Thank you for supporting multicultural communities and recognising the importance of cultural diversity, community connection, and inclusion within our region.

We would also like to thank Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre for their ongoing support and collaboration with our community activities.
