👟 GIVE YOUR OLD BOOTS A NEW TEAM! 🌏💙

Have a pair of footy boots sitting in the cupboard that you’ve outgrown or simply don’t wear anymore?

Don’t throw them out — give them another run! 🙌

Hervey Bay Oztag is proud to support Save Your Soles, a fantastic local initiative collecting retired running and sporting shoes from across the Wide Bay-Burnett region and sending them to Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬.

The initiative not only helps keep perfectly wearable shoes out of landfill ♻️, but also gives children and communities in PNG access to quality footwear so they can get active and enjoy the sports and activities they love.

📦 Hervey Bay Oztag will have a collection box available for donations at admin on game nights.

We’re calling on our entire Oztag community (players, parents, coaches, referees and supporters) to have a look through the cupboard and donate any old:

👟 Footy boots
👟 Running shoes
👟 Sports shoes

All we ask is that they are still in wearable condition and have plenty of life left in them!

Your old boots might be finished playing for you, but their next game could be just beginning. 💙🌏

♻️ Save your soles. Reduce waste. Give someone else the opportunity to play.
