At the Doing It Tuff Dinner, we’re coming together next Saturday as a community to raise funds for local mental health support, because no one should have to carry the heavy stuff alone.

To help us get there, we’ve got some incredible pieces up for grabs in our auction:

🥊 Signed Rocky framed memorabilia
🤘 Signed Metallica framed memorabilia
🕺 Michael Jackson “King of Pop” framed tribute piece

Every dollar raised on the night goes straight back into supporting mental health across our community, so you can grab yourself something special and look after your mates at the same time 💙

Proudly presented in partnership with Fraser Coast Mates, this special event is a fantastic opportunity to get out, enjoy a shared experience, and take a little time for yourself this Mental Health Week.

We would like to extend a big thank you to Hervey Bay Daylight 521 Masonic Lodge for their generous donation to us amongst a wonderful gathering last weekend.

Darren and Craig from Fraser Coast Mates was delighted to attend and be presented a $10,000 cheque from their Worshipful Master, Bert Pitt and the MW Grand Master.

An amazing support from a special group that the funds will be used to support our local community.

Hervey Bay Daylight Masonic Lodge 521 hosted a Garden Party at The Hayward Hall MG Collection Museum on Sunday 27th September 2026

It was a great success with in excess of 70 people attending. It was a privilege to have the MW Grand Master David Gray and his wife Elaine in attendance. A special treat was provided by Don and Greg playing live music to entertain the attendees

The Garden Party was to get the Freemasons and their families of the Wide Bay area together to enjoy the afternoon and to help raise much needed funds for Fraser Coast Mates, a local charity who provide counselling and assistance to mentally challenged people on the brink of su***de.

Our Worshipful Master, Bert Pitt and the MW Grand Master presented a cheque of $10,000.00 to the President of Fraser Coast Mates, Mr Darren Bosley. Mr Bosley replied, thanking the Lodges for the Support and told us how the money would be spent to hopefully save some lives within the Fraser Coast community.

During the afternoon a steady stream of people enjoyed a tour of the MG Car and Memorabilia Museum.
