That's a wrap for our NEST Program 💛

NEST is OzHarvest’s public health nutrition program, designed to help people build healthy eating habits in a practical, engaging and enjoyable way.

Over the past six weeks, participants have learned how to prepare simple, nutritious meals while gaining valuable tips and strategies for cooking healthy food on a budget. Through hands-on activities and shared experiences, participants have developed practical skills and confidence that can be easily applied in their own homes. The program has provided a relaxed and supportive environment where participants have not only learned about nutrition and meal preparation but have also connected with others in the community.

A big congratulations to everyone who has completed the program. We hope the knowledge, skills and recipes you have gained will continue to support healthy eating habits for years to come.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who selflessly give their time at The Meeting Place!

Recently, we took the team out for breakfast as a way of saying 'thank you' and celebrating the week.

Hub manager Jenene said "I love an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge our volunteers, who selflessly dedicate their time to supporting our community."
