What a gift it was to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day last weekend with the teachers and students of SDN 2 Abang Batudinding, Kintamani. Their enthusiasm was a powerful reminder of the spirit of this nation.

Independence is not just about breaking free from the bo***ge centuries ago, but also renewing how we think and leaving behind old ways to build a better future.

Thank you to the School community and to the amazing Youth of GKII Kepaon, Denpasar for your time, generosity and creativity. It was a joy to work alongside you all!

School holidays were brighter for Buahan children when they welcomed GPCC Australia for a time of play and shared learning. Both groups gave their time to build friendships beyond cultural and language differences. We hope this experience opens young minds in Buahan Village to the world beyond. Our sincere thanks to the GPCC Australia teachers and students for this unforgettable exchange.

Turning our serious business into a fun-packed community day for Buahan children with a giant bouncy castle, ice cream, popcorn, face painting, crafts, pop up games and fairy floss! A blast of joy in the heart of the village where sweet memories were spun. Thank you team for spreading cheer! 🌟

Kindness always finds its way. Behind the thick, concrete walls of the Australian Embassy in Denpasar, a totally different world exists. In this slum area, families live simply, surviving on gardens and odd jobs. Last week we were fortunate to share gifts, music, games and story time with the children in this community. We left feeling blessed, hoping our small gesture will spark growth. Thanks for your excellent teamwork!

What a joy to celebrate a significant moment with the incredible team that's supported us every step of the way; bringing the new kindergarten playground in Buahan into fruition!
