A reminder for a save the date. Also if there are any “creative” businesses that would like to donate to the raffle we would love to hear from you! As it’s an “Art Exhibition” and performing arts evening we would love the raffle donations to reflect this, so any artists, photographers, dance or drama companies, music companies we would love to hear from you if you would have a prize to donate. Save the date for the WPS P&C Art Exhibition Fundraising Evening on 29 July, 5-7pm.

Join us for a wonderful evening celebrating creativity while supporting our school community. More information will be shared soon.

We are also seeking donations for our arts-based raffle (think artworks, dance class vouchers, art and craft supplies, photography or any other creative experiences or items). If you or someone you know can contribute to the raffle, please contact the P&C via Facebook Messenger.

Don’t forget “Wear it Yellow Day” tomorrow at school as part of Reconciliation week. As per the school information below students are invited to wear a “splash” of yellow or add a yellow item to their school uniform (note this is not a m***i day). P&C Meeting - Monday 18th May, 7pm, School Library 😀
Our monthly P&C meeting will be held tomorrow evening in the school library, it is our first meeting since the AGM in March so it will be great to see some new faces. Anyone within our school community is welcome to attend, membership is just $2 via flexischools. Please message us if you have any questions.

Our year 6 students are raising funds for their farewell with a fun crazy socks day tomorrow. It’s a gold coin donation so let’s get behind their fundraising and dig out those coins!

Mother’s Day Breakfast 2026 ❤️
A BIG thank you to Mr Gray and all the wonderful school staff for cooking up a beautiful breakfast for all the school mums, nans and special others this morning. It was a wonderful morning to share some special moments with our children and others within the school community. For some mums it was their last WPS Mother’s Day breakfast and for others their first. We hope you all felt special this morning and got to enjoy some of the activities. There was even a mums V kids soccer game, thank you to some of the year 6 girls for initiating this, they certainly won on fitness! A new tradition for the future! Wishing you all a beautiful weekend however it looks for you. We are always so grateful for the beautiful mums within our school community ❤️

Our Mother’s Day stall was a wonderful success today, with lots of happy faces all around. We hope all the special mums, nanas, and important people in our students’ lives feel the love this Sunday morning.

For any students who were away today, or forgot to bring money, there will be a pop up stall at recess this Friday. If you have Flexischools credits, we have your orders recorded. Cash will also be accepted at the pop up stall.

A big thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly. We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful school community 🌼🌼🌼🌼
