It’s been three months since the RRR Women Future Queensland: Rural Womens Leadership Program 2026 cohort first came together in Rockhampton, and last week they gathered from all over rural, regional and remote Queensland in Brisbane for the program closing retreat.
Through conversations with experts, community leaders and each other, over the last few months the cohort has explored the opportunities and challenges of the renewable energy transition and the vital role communities play in shaping what comes next. And through it all, they’ve developed their own leadership in the state’s future energy mix.
Leadership opportunities like this are one of RRR Women’s founding values and key opportunities we offer our members. We're so pleased to again work with the expert team at Energy Leadership Australia (ELA) to deliver the program for the second year.
We can’t wait to see what these women will do for their communities, regions and the future of energy in Queensland.
