Our next meeting is this Friday night at 7.30 pm at our usual venue, Gold Park on Hume St Toowoomba.

Our guest speaker for August is member and AOC judge Warren Williams. He will be talking about Dendrobium speciosum, its varieties and the Intervariatals that have been created.

It will be an interesting presentation.

In a sad week for nosti as members attended Josie’s funeral a strange event happened in my bushouse. I checked my plants on Wednesday and again Thursday afternoon and to my surprise this sarc. had popped out. Now I know Josie liked her sarcs . so I’d like to think it was Josie saying goodbye. Also most people know that I don’t use clonal names on my orchids in fact I’ve only done it twice and one of those times was for an award . But this out of season ( 3 months early) I’m going to call Josie in honour of our treasured friend.

Our first show for the year is only 8 weeks away. We hope to see you there!
