If you hit a medium to large animal in your vehicle, chances are likely that it didn't die instantly and will suffer horribly. Please if you can't stop to check....call someone when you do. WIRES, Koala, Land & Wildlife Support, RSPCA and plenty more.

This poor female koala was hit on the NEHighway early yday morning. Thanks to a witness to the strike who stopped and called for help,we were able to get her off to a vet ASAP to assess her injuries. Unfortunately they were too severe and she was put to rest. A much kinder way to go then suffering until she starved or died from maggot infestation.😵‍💫
