What fun marshalling at the Noosa Triathlon . A few busy roads to handle and thank goodness for the skills of our police and triathlon support crew. Great team work and it is so good to support the wonderful athletes who compete in this world class event. It's also a great way to connect with the locals who come out to enjoy the fast flying bikes. Why not join Lions and be part of the action ? - we would love to tell you more .

We are proud and happy to donate $2000 to the Australian Lions Children's Mobility Foundation .This will support their valuable work in providing mobility aids, adapted bikes, trikes and walkers for children with mobility challenges. We also collect used postage stamps and over $25,000 a year is raised by Lions on the sale of the stamps to collectors. If you have any, please just clip them like the image below and post them to the address on the envelope- P.O.Box 67, Tewantin,4565. And thank you to the generous human who sends the envelope in the photo. The stamps are prepared with such care. Together we can give children the freedom of movement, mobility, access to the great outdoors and that has to be fun.

Pretty in pink - The Eumundi carparking A-Team - How good is this - they are raising funds for our new food trailer to replace our 30 year old rigs, they are helping fund an inclusive restroom for our Den, they are promoting awareness for breast cancer support - and they are actually finding time to park cars at the famous Eumundi Markets....... I told you they were legends .

Biblical rain didn't stop the hardy Lions cooking snags at Bunnings today. Raising funds for community causes and also doing a walk around to remind busy folk to look after their eye health. You may have met Lion Jay walking around reminding you to book an eye check up. Lions are promoting vision care this month and we are commencing a school eye test program--- watch this space to SEE MORE . fab photos Alison LensArt

Our guest speaker at the monthly Lions dinner meeting ---Thank you Nathan Bradley- Acting Local Controller Noosa State Emergency Service - North Coast Region for a highly informative and interesting talk on the rewards and challenges of running a local State emergency service. It was inspiring to learn that SES Volunteers of all ages and abilities can find a role to support your work- yes you need folk to make sandwiches too as well as fire up a chainsaw. We learnt about sandbags and so much more about building community resilience in preparation for weather, flood and fire disasters. We are definitely in safe hands - thank you.
