Teneriffe Lions Club We are locals aged in our 20s-70s who volunteer in Newstead, Teneriffe and New Farm and enjoy socialising. Come join us ! Where there's a NEED, there's a Lion.

Contribute as little or as much time as you can spare, in any of our varied projects. We provide help to our local area and give our aid to community groups, schools and health agencies and to many individuals. If you are aware of a person or group within the community who would benefit from assistance from us, please email us so we can determine in what way we can assist. Teneriffe Lions Club was

established to serve the Teneriffe, Newstead, Fortitude Valley and New Farm community. We seek to support people or groups within the community who need assistance. 100% of all funds raised goes to our community. Want to become a member? Membership is open to men and women who are prepared to give some of their time to help those less fortunate than themselves by helping raise money and taking an active interest in supporting our community's needs. Membership fees: $55 joining fee & $14/month membership. Students under 30 pay $10/month with no joining fee

Very pleased to leverage our network and funds raised from the Community to “find and fund” a new home for Cycling Without Age Brisbane. They do an amazing job connecting those no longer able to ride for themselves with their community and the outdoors by giving them free rides on trishaw ebikes, piloted by volunteer cyclists.

Successful day helping out at Holy Trinity, Fortitude Valley's Community Table today. We had 120 guests who enjoyed Christmas meats and veg, with mini pav and bread and butter pudding. Lots of bonbons were pulled with plenty of Christmas carols sung.

🦁🦁🦁🦁 Major Opportunity for local youth 🦁🦁🦁🦁

Teneriffe Lions Club is offering Lions International’s Youth of the Year program to those living or schooling in the Newstead / Teneriffe / New Farm / Fortitude Valley area. Every student who participates gains valuable experience, with the Club winner proceeding to District, State and then National events to further enrich their development. Contact us with queries or to register your interest by early January.
