What a spectacular start to our new Silver Surfers season at Manly Beach today!

were absolutely thrilled to welcome 25 Silver Surfers into the ocean, kicking off the season with plenty of waves, laughter, courage and some very big smiles!

But the real magic of Silver Surfers happens beyond the waves.

We’re not just teaching people to surf. We’re building a community.

A community where friendships are formed, confidence grows, barriers are broken and older Australians discover new ways to stay active, connected and engaged with the world around them.

This is social prescribing in action — harnessing the incredible benefits of the ocean, physical activity and social connection to support healthier, happier, active ageing.

Programs like this don’t happen without people who believe in their impact.

SILVER SURFERS SEASON 3 IS HERE!

The wetsuits are ready, the boards are out and Silver Surfers is heading back to Manly Beach!

Season Three kicks off 9 October, bringing our 55+ crew together for another summer of waves, wellbeing, movement and mateship.

This year, we’re adding yoga and breathwork alongside our much-loved bodyboarding sessions — because Silver Surfers is about more than catching waves. It’s about staying active, trying new things, building confidence and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

Today we launched ‘BOOST EVERY BITE’ our newest Healthy & Active Ageing program, helping clients understand how our nutritional needs change as we age and the foods that can help us stay strong, healthy and independent.

Our first session combined practical nutrition advice with some hands-on cooking — and plenty of laughs along the way!

Because healthy ageing isn’t just about staying active — what we eat matters too.
